| The Geomancers’ Line of Succession
18th Century AD
In 1695, six years after he fought in the revolution of 1689 and William the III made him Duke of Wynthrop, Gilad stopped the Enemy from returning to England to the royal monarchy as Victor the II. Subsequently, the enemy came back to life when Abigail, Gilad’s wife, gave birth to their son. Aware that Gilad could not let his children live, Abigail gave the child to her house cleaner, Mona, for her to raise him as her own.
Nearly two decades later, the boy killed his foster father, the privateer Captain Corbin, took over the ship, and started a reign of plundering. A few years later, Nigel and Gilad tracked him down and killed him again.
